Went here for brunch with my daughter. We drove from Toledo because she saw a post on insta and wanted to try it. She enjoyed the strawberry pancakes she ordered. We both ordered the Hangover Fries, which were good. Large portion as well. I ordered the Crab Cake Benny, which was ok. I should've order my eggs cooked harder, but it wasn't bad. Also, if you're vegan, they do have an entire vegan menu. We had a 45 min wait for 2, which I didn't understand,as there were tables open when we got there, and the table we were finally seated at was one of those, so IDK...It's a pub setting so it was a little cramped, but expected. Was it worth the drive? I don't think so. Would I go again? Maybe.
Some of there food is amazing and worth a longer drive, some dishes are just ok. Service and atmosphere were great both times I went. Didn't try their drinks but they had a lot of great sounding options.
It’s been on my holiday bucket list to check out “Jingle” at Ale Mary’s! The themed menu and decor definitely illuminates the ultimate festive atmosphere! They are definitely busy on the weekends so be prepared to wait. We ended up finding a seat at the bar where we received friendly service and our food arrived promptly and hot! I greatly enjoyed my chicken and waffles, the chicken was freshly battered and the waffles were perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. My guy enjoyed his chorizo hash but said it is VERY spicy so if you are appeased by spice, that is your thing! The playfully named holiday cocktails are served in a variety of fun glasses and we tried the “You’ll shoot your eye out” which was fruity and refreshing!
The ambience is pleasant, and the servers are very accommodating and friendly. The omelette was well-prepared and enjoyable. However, the Dubai chocolate pancake was a bit dry. I would recommend making it fluffier to enhance the overall dish.
Just made a quick stop in here because we were nearby and my lady saw the Christmas themed decor/drinks on instagram, so she had to check it out. Of course she had to order us drinks that came in the fancy cups. I went with the ‘shoot your eye out’ (on the left in the nut cracker cup). It was a rum based drink and was very tasty. I can’t recall the name of her drink in the snowman, but she liked it as well. Bartender was friendly and gave us great service.
Visited mid week with an influencer friend to try new brunch menu and thoroughly enjoyed it. Service took a bit because they were bringing out a spread of food and drinks - and it was worth it!! Everything was delicious but the Best bites for me were the chorizo breakfast hash, hangover fries and strawberry crunch pancakes. Also had the Elvis French toast, fruity pebble French toast, Dubai chocolate pancakes, and Western omelette. Mocktails and cocktails were delicious and refreshing too (loved the dragon fruit dream mocktail). We had so much food that we took a carry out. I was pleasantly surprised that everything even the pancakes reheated well. Because I enjoyed brunch so much, I went back a few days later for dinner. We were seated inside right away despite no resy and I ordered the Regina George, which was a fantastic craft cocktail (boozy and balanced sweetness). They were out of whatever IPA on tap my husband ordered so he got a canned beer. Service was better this time (shoutout to Barry) but unfortunately the food fell short. They were out of the Asian wings which I came to try, so I got a couple recommendations from our server and ended up ordering the Reuben eggs rolls; kids chicken tenders with the side of mac & cheese; 2 lobster rolls w/fries and a mixed green salad. Best bite was egg rolls which were fried good but needed a bit more filling - the spicy sauce was yummy though. The mac & cheese description was incredible(aged white cheddar + smoked Gouda), but it arrived soupy and bland. The lobster rolls were also not good - do not recommend! We thought the meat was too mushy but liked that the mixture was mayo heavy and the bread was nicely buttered, so my husband powered through both of them. After the lobster I was questioning the freshness of the salad, the tomatoes looked past their prime, but we were told they purposely blister them… the vinaigrette was good so we finished it. They have great seasoned fries so we finished those too. Because of the brunch and great cocktails, I would definitely return. It feels like a place you go to sit and bar for drinks/quick appetizer.
